Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was as a captain and a participant in the 2012 fierce Five as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold for team events in addition to the floor exercise. In the balance beam, she received the bronze medal. The result made her the Olympic gymnast with most medals. The year she was in 2016, along with her teammate Gabby Doug were the first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition as well as floor workouts. After the 2 Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics over three seasons. The gold medal she won for the American team also took home 2 World Championships. Her favourite event is dance on the floor. She started learning gymnastics when she was two years of age. Aly has joined in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her leotard line and socks in the near future. Fierce is a novel she's working on, will come out later this year.
